Name: 伊藤 由奈 (이토 윤아) Ito Yuna Age: 35 Position: Doctor Birthplace: Tokyo, Japan Background Yuna was born to a Japanese father and a Korean mother. Her father, a successful business man, is ashamed of his Korean wife and had never intended to marry her in the first place, but after his wife's family disowned her for becoming pregnant by a Japanese man, he decided to take pity on her and take her in. Because of this, he made sure Yuna felt just as bad about her race as he did so she would not flaunt it, and to this day, only a small number of people even know of Yuna's mixed race. Yuna had many troubles growing up, facing the pressure of her father for her to behave so his name wouldn't be ruined to business partners, and there had been at time where Yuna struggled to please him, but after she had a slip up and he punished her for it by backhanding her, Yuna couldn't find it within herself to care about her father's reputation. It was around that time that her father began speaking of another person, an abomination of a son that intrigued Yuna. For years, she dreamed of what her older brother was like and created an image of him in her mind that made her feel happy and protected, even when she suffered through beatings and sexual abuse. She took comfort in knowing that if her big brother had been there, he would have chased the monsters away and none of it would have happened to her. When news came of her brother's death years later, Yuna was heart-broken. She had searched Japan high and low for him, and she had only found him too late. It had taken her a year after that to finally transfer to Bakuzen Byouin, her brother's place of death, only to find out he had never died at all, but had escaped. Now, reunited with her brother, she vows to take care of him at whatever cost, even if it means putting her own life and reputation at stake to keep him happy.
